ANOTHER DEVICE: An Additional 'Package' is Intercepted Near CNN's Atlanta Offices

"This morning, another suspicious package addressed to CNN was intercepted at an Atlanta post office".

Investigators suspect he also sent the latest one and were conducting forensic tests to see if they could find a definitive link, another law enforcement official said.

Cesar Sayoc, suspected of mailing at least 15 pipe bombs to prominent Democrats, was just getting started, according to law enforcement sources who say they found a "hit list" of over 100 names in his Trump-spangled van.

There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Friday that Sayoc was charged with five federal crimes: interstate transportation of an explosive, illegal mailing of explosives, threats against former presidents and certain other persons, threatening interstate communications and assaulting current and former federal officers.

The other two packages addressed to CNN were apparent mail bombs.

Suspicious packages intended for Booker, Clapper found
The FBI said the packages found so far had shared characteristics, including manila envelopes with bubble-wrapped interiors. The building, home to CNN's NY headquarters, was the target of a separate bomb threat on Wednesday.

One of the packages, addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, made it to the mailroom of CNN last Wednesday.

According to CBS News, the package that was intercepted in Atlanta was similar to 14 others that were sent to high-profile newsmakers and CNN's NY bureau since October 23.

In US District Court on Monday afternoon, Cesar Sayoc, his salt-and-pepper hair pulled back into a ponytail, remained largely silent, only acknowledging Judge Edwin Torres' reading of the charges against him.

Sayoc was an ardent Trump supporter whom acquaintances said had extremist views and who lived in a van covered in pro-Trump and anti-liberal stickers. Sayoc is accused of sending explosive material to Democrats and other prominent critics of President Donald Trump. But earlier in the day, CNN President Jeff Zucker announced that a suspicious package addressed to the cable television network was intercepted Monday at an Atlanta post office.

"There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news". He added that the media "must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly".

It was not immediately clear whether the package was connected to the 14 the Federal Bureau of Investigation has said were mailed recently to prominent Democratic and media figures who have been critical of President Donald Trump. That will do much to put out the flame of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony.
