Kelly absent from show following blackface comments

Sources told Page Six that Kelly is out at NBC following controversial comments she made about blackface this week.

Kelly stirred outrage on Tuesday during a segment in which she questioned why it was wrong for people to don "blackface" for Halloween costumes. "Yesterday we had a discussion here about political correctness and Halloween costumes, and that conversation turned to whether it is ever okay for a person of one race to dress up as another - a black person making their race lighter or a white person making theirs darker, to make a costume complete".

She said it was acceptable when she was a kid when portraying a character.

While her on-air antics are well-documented, not much is known about her life off camera and details about her marriage are a bit of mystery.

On Sept. 25 of that year, she debuted in the 9 a.m. hour, traditionally a soft-news time period, thought to be an odd fit for the adversarial former corporate defense attorney who made her name at Fox News discussing politics in prime time.

At press time, NBC News declined to comment on the status of Kelly's employment at the company.

Brunt and his wife met on a blind date and started seeing each other regularly after that. "But she's costing a lot of money, they might lose advertisers over this controversy, and she's not bringing any return", Cassino added.

While walking her two dogs one night he accidentally lost control of the leashes which led to the Shih Tzu running off and nearly getting hit by a vehicle.

It's unimaginable. Where would they put her?

"I want to begin with two words: I'm sorry", she said. "She's demonstrated tremendous skill and poise, and we're lucky to have her".

Megyn Kelly's future with NBC News appears to be in serious jeopardy.

On Wednesday it was reported that Kelly had fired her agent at Creative Artists Agency after rumours circulated that she might be moving on from her NBC daytime show.

"They're contacting the staff and reassigning everyone today".

An unofficial NBC source tells Access Megyn Kelly is out at NBC. "The show is clearly over".

An NBC spokeswoman said Thursday that "given the circumstances", the network was airing repeats of "Megyn Kelly Today" Thursday and Friday.
