Editors at TMZ now report that the 25-year-old has now agreed to go to rehab and has already made plans with a treatment centre, although details about which facility she will be admitted to is currently unknown, and she will go directly from hospital, where she is due to be released "any day now".

TMZ revealed that a source told them, "Demi's family has squarely raised the issue of rehab with her. something they delayed for days because of the many complications resulting from the OD".

However, it's thought she'll be ready to leave hospital this week and she's reportedly agreed to head back into rehab to help her beat her addictions and get back on the road to sobriety. The singer's bodyguard, who rushed to the bedside of the stricken pop star, is now being credited with saving her life. Her personal assistant reportedly screamed out, "She's dead!"
