Nokia 7 Plus spotted. Here's all about it

To remind you, Nokia 6 was the first Android smartphone from HMD Global. However, since it is a plus variant, it ought to have a bigger screen than Nokia 7's 5.2 inch full HD display.

The only other spec revealed in the listing is 4GB of RAM, which wouldn't be an upgrade, but it's possible that some things that aren't listed here will be changing.

The Nokia 7 Plus has appeared on popular benchmarking site Geekbench.

The Nokia 7, which will launch in USA, is expected to support all the major carriers and the company has also changed some of the hardware specs of the device which will launch in US. Word is that HMD is reportedly prepping an ultimate flagship smartphone called Nokia 10 that might be launched with a penta-lens camera setup and that this device could be unveiled at the IFA 2018 show in Berlin later this year.

Moreover, the listing shows the phone with 4 GB of RAM and the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

While it's still not clear when the company plans to bring the camera-centric phone to the market, the launch could happen towards the end of the year.

HMD Global recently released the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the new iteration of the Nokia 6 that was launched earlier this month. It is also expected to feature a 3D glass on both sides and is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. According to the GeekBench listing, the device has single-core score of 1636 and Multi-core score of 5902.

The devices might first debut in the USA before launching worldwide.

With such a large camera module on the back, it will be interesting to see how the smartphone maker will introduce a decent sized battery and position the fingerprint sensor as well. The device offers 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.
