Queen Elizabeth II Drops Bra-Fitter After Revealing Details About Fitting, Grandsons

The shop has now reportedly lost its royal warrant after Julie released her book called Storm in a D-cup in March a year ago, where she details fittings she had with the royal family at Buckingham Palace.

Kenton bought Rigby & Peller in 1982, then sold a majority stake to luxury lingerie maker Van de Velde for nearly NZ$15 million in 2011.

The lingerie company is now forbidden to display the royal coat of arms and has been stripped of its royal warrant.

Storm in a D-Cup reveals details about June's working relationship with other royals including Princess Diana, Princess Margaret and the Queen MotherWhy has Rigby & Peller lost its royal title and what did Storm in a D-Cup reveal? She penned intimate details about measuring the half-dressed monarch in front of her corgis.

In interviews, Mrs. Kenton revealed that Diana not only came for fittings, but ordered swimsuits designed in Israel and accepted posters showing models in lingerie and swimwear for princes William and Harry to display in their Eton studies.

She maintains that there is nothing in the book that is offensive and thinks that the decision to strip the Royal Warrant is, well, unwarranted.

Buckingham Palace said it not "comment on individual companies".

"I have seen some unbelieveable sights and heard some extraordinary stories", June wrote.

Kenton herself had been the official “corsetiere” to Queen Elizabeth since the 1980s often visiting Buckingham Palace
Queen's Elizabeth's favored bra shop loses privileges over former owner's book

Last night Mrs Kenton, 82, told Mail Online: 'The letter came out of the blue and was very upsetting at the time. "I can't fight with Buckingham Palace and I wouldn't want to".

That's thought to be the reason why the Queen has sacked her bra-fitter of 57-years after the owner wrote a tell-all book.

The Royal Warrant Holders Association has yet to respond to the BBC.

"Rigby & Peller is deeply saddened by this decision and is not able to elaborate further on the cancellation out of respect for Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Warrant Holders Association, " the company said in statement. The company was effectively fired after its one-time owner and official "corsetiere" to the Queen, published a memoir that Buckingham Palace didn't like.

Rigby & Peller received the Royal Warrant in 1960.

'This is hard for me to say, but I don't want her to go with this, ' she said.

Eighty-two-year-old June Kenton sold her majority stake in the company for £8million after paying £20,000 for it in 1982.

The royal endorsement can also be removed if a brand stops being used by the Palace, such as Carr's Table Water biscuits, which lost its warrant in 2012 because of "lower demand".
