Trump Calls Incorrect News Reports 'A Stain On America'

Politics reporter Dave Weigel shared images on Twitter showing rows of empty seats in the Pensacola Bay Center, Florida, where Trump held a rally Friday, with the sarcastic comment "packed to the rafters".

The latest in a series of conflicts between the current administration and various news organizations arose on the afternoon of Sat, Dec. 9, when President Donald Trump called for the Washington Post to fire one of its reporters following a misleading tweet regarding the president's campaign-style rally on Friday. "Packed to the rafters", Weigel wrote with the image, quoting Trump's own description of the rally.

Trump, in response to Weigel's tweet, first tweeted several pictures of the packed arena where he spoke.

Dignified! An easy way to support Weigel's work while he's singled out for Trump's Two Minutes Hate is by buying his book, The Show That Never Ends: The Rise and Fall of Prog Rock, which has nothing to do with Donald Trump, Roy Moore, or online thuggery. "Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo!" he wrote.

Weigel noted that he deleted the tweet after being told by David Martosko, U.S. political editor of The Daily Mail, that he "had gotten it wrong".

But Trump retorted by labeling Weigel a "fraud" and calling for him to be fired.

How did the media react?

"And when he was later addressed by the president on Twitter, he promptly apologized for it".

Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson accused of rape
In the protective order filing , the woman said she was drinking at a bar on November 16 when she met Anderson for the first time. Over the last seven games, he has gained 1,134 yards from scrimmage - rushing and receiving - and scored 14 touchdowns.

He admitted that he was confused, but maintained that the "bad tweet" was from his personal social media account and not a story for Washington Post.

Another leftist anti-Trump publication to the north, the New York Times, tried to turn the tables on Trump over the Pensacola incident, insisting that it was another swipe by the president to "discredit" the mainstream media.

So when is Trump going to acknowledge his crowd size lie?

ABC News initially issued a "clarification" of the story, later apologizing and suspending Ross for four weeks.

"Fake News CNN made a vicious and purposeful mistake yesterday", Trump tweeted on Saturday morning before tweeting about Weigel's photo.

"After taking office in January, he accused journalists of deliberately understating the size of the crowd at his inauguration and said that up to 1.5 million people were in attendance - a claim that photographs disproved", Johndec continued. "Give their place to a more deserving media outlet", News.com.au reported. However, National Park Service photos showed that there were far less attendees than former president Barack Obama's inauguration attracted in 2009.
