Shoppers Evacuated From NY Mall Amid Reports of Shooting: State Police

A busy mall in the New York State was evacuated Sunday after two people suffered minor injuries when a gun was sacked at the floor, police said.

Investigators say this happened on the second level of the mall near the American Eagle store.

It came in the midst of a busy Thanksgiving shopping weekend. It is not clear if the two were injured by gunshots or another way. It's unclear if the shot fired was an "accidental discharge" or intentional, he said, but the gun was pointing down at the floor when it was sacked.

A video posted on social media showed armed police in tactical gear running down a corridor of the mall while shoppers ran in the other direction.
