Severe thunderstorms headed to parts of NJ

Weather conditions could develop "dangerous thunderstorms" capable of producing strong winds and heavy rain, according to a release from Environment Canada. "Expect wind to cause damage to trees, and power lines".

And more heavy rain will also be possible. "Isolated flash flooding can not be ruled out as well".

The National Weather Service in Huntsville said storm chances will rise through the day, with the best chances coming from the early afternoon through the late evening. These storms could be strong to severe bringing quarter size hail and 60 miles per hour wind gusts.
