Naked Florida man damages patrol car after fleeing crash

The odd series of events started about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, as deputies were responding to a vehicle accident and they learned that the driver of one of the vehicles walked away. Details on the crash, including whether or not Humphries was driving naked, were not released.

When the lad tries to open cop auto door, the officer says: "That's not normal".

He was placed in the back of the cruiser and damaged the door, deputies said.

Due to his erratic behavior, Humphries was placed in handcuffs and secured in the back of a patrol vehicle. Humphries kicked the vehicle and pulled the cage, causing approximately $1,000 in damage, according to a news release. Police said the entire door will most likely need to be replaced.

A Marion County Sheriff's deputy captured the far from normal events on a dash cam. Witnesses said Humphries also urinated on a parked sheriff's office vehicle before deputies encountered him. You tried to open up the driver's door of a police vehicle. He also allegedly damaged another patrol auto.

The witness said when Humphries couldn't get inside the vehicle, he chose to urinate on it. That vehicle belonged to a Marion County Sheriff's Office deputy.

A press release issued by Marion County Sheriff's Office states that 18-year old Andrew Humphries left a vehicle accident scene on foot.

According to authorities, Humphries denied taking any kind of narcotics. A separate FHP investigation is being conducted into the crash Humphries was involved in.
