Man investigated in death of child points to his wife

She said he placed the body in a garage in Centreville. This Tuesday, June 6, 2017, photo provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shows Jason Quate, who was arrested Tuesday after his wife told police he had forced her into sex trafficking.

The woman then claimed that Quate had killed another of their children in 2015, when they were living in. She also accused Quate of killing their daughter and putting the body in the garage of a vacant home in Centreville, Ill.

The girl's remains were found early Tuesday morning inside a detached garage at a vacant house in Centreville. Dye said a forensic anthropologist is investigating and a cause of death has yet to be determined.

Police said Jason Quate's wife told them he killed their 6-year-old daughter in IL and then forced her into prostitution. "I haven't touched her", he said.

Authorities from IL plan to travel to Las Vegas, but it's unclear if Quate will be extradited to face murder charges for reportedly killing his 6-year-old daughter in 2013.

Officers found the body wrapped in blankets.

Led coalition strikes pro-government forces in Syria
The official said the group totaled about 60 pro-regime soldiers and equipment that "presented enough threat " to warrant strikes. They ignored several warnings sent over the "de-confliction line", forcing Operation Inherent Resolve forces to attack.

The Associated Press is withholding the woman's name to avoid identifying the children and because authorities said she is considered a victim in the sex trafficking and prostitution case.

Detectives are coordinating with authorities in IL on the discovery of the child's body.

Quate, 34, adamantly denies that he hurt his two daughters or forced his wife into prostitution. Two children in the apartment showed signs of abuse and neglect and were taken into protective custody, KLAS reports. She said officers met to discuss the "extremely disturbing" child death case Tuesday, but would not give details. Police said the girls were never allowed outside, even to attend school.

Quate is jailed in Las Vegas. Quate has not been charged in his daughter's death.

In the jailhouse interview, Quate said he never murdered his child. He's jailed in Las Vegas. Raymond Spencer said in a video statement. They needed support from police to get into the vehicle that took them away and into protective custody, he said. He told the Post-Dispatch that he had lied to the TV station and that his wife had come up with the adoption story after their daughter died.

He said they had broken up as a couple long ago but were staying together for the kids "and I think she was just fed up with supporting financially a man and children who did not love her". And he says it was his wife's idea to move to Las Vegas and become a prostitute.
