There's also a lower powered Switch 3, with Full HD screen and a choice of Intel Pentium or Celeron processors. It's available in 15.6- and 17.3-inch models, both of which are 1080p, and it offers the same processor and RAM options. For commercial customers, the Acer Switch 5 can be purchased with the Acer USB Type-C Dock that transforms the device into a powerful workstation. It also features a pretty expansive trackpad that shares in the display's 10-point multitouch compatibility to accommodate gesture support when navigating around the Windows 10 OS. The Switch 3 tablet alone measures just 9.95mm in height, and weighs 0.9kg.

Acer's other confusingly named PC is the Aspire Z24 is a similarly specced PC, albeit with a 24-inch screen, an added optical drive and support for NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. This is made possible by the new LiquidLoop cooling tech which is also the key to the Switch 5's ability to last for 10.5 hours on a single charge.
